What a horrible turn of events -- the death of Flower (pictured), matriarch to the Whiskers clan on the excellent series "Meerkat Manor."The Animal Planet series, now in its third season, took a sad turn Friday when a cobra infiltrated the Whiskers' den. When Flower tried to evict the unwanted tenant, she was bitten -- a fatal blow. It was a stunning event that demonstrates why "Manor" is one of the best series currently on television.
