It's official: The International Astronomical Union (IAU) approved a new definition of a "planet" -- and Pluto does not make the cut. Read the rather surprising news here.
I think I am happy with the new definition -- nothing against Pluto. The IAU has created a new category that will include Pluto: dwarf planets. I don't know.
